Lace up your shoes and take steps to end
global poverty at the
World Partnership Walk on Sunday, June 12th, 2011 at
Prince's Island Park. For over 25 years, Aga Khan Foundation Canada has been partnering with Canadians through the
World Partnership Walk: Canada’s largest fundraising event dedicated to fighting
global poverty. 100% of funds raised go directly to international development projects: not one cent is spent on administration. A few fun hours on your feet could help women in India preserve sources of safe drinking water, give children in Kenya a head start on their education or give farmers in Tajikistan new ways to plan for the future. Last year nearly 40,000 Canadians came together to raise more than $6 million. Walk the walk by creating or joining a team, registering to walk (there is no fee), sponsoring a participant, involving your company, or coming out and enjoying a fun filled day.
