VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Studio Bollywood iDance, an organization that strongly believes in giving back to the community, is looking for Volunteers for their 3rd Annual Dance Extravaganza called ONE – Rhythm of World Dance on May 26, 2012 at the Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium, benefitting the Calgary SCOPE Society, a non-profit company that looks after developmentally disabled Calgarians and their families. ONE provides a professional stage for the established and upcoming talent of Alberta, from diverse cultures.

Volunteers are a major part of the ONE show, and are essential to making this event a success. The last 2 shows by the company saw 214 and 300 dance volunteer participants respectively, apart from the other volunteers for the events.

Studio Bollywood is looking for Volunteers with some Sales & Marketing background for the acquisition of Sponsorship from Corporate and other establishments and Sales promotions of tickets for the event. Experience is not always necessary, more importantly, is the passion for achievement, which would be evident in the extra -curricular activities and/or in your work experience.

As a volunteer for the ONE show:
•Acquisition of Sponsorship for the event (Financial and Media)
•Ticket sales and promotions
•Meet new people and connect with fellow volunteers
•Enjoy diverse opportunities and flexible scheduling
•Be encouraged to develop leadership and communication skills
•Gain valuable customer service experience
•Enhance your resume
