Fund Development Manager

     

The Calgary Catholic Immigration Society (CCIS) currently has a full-time employment opportunity for a FUND DEVELOPMENT MANAGER.

The primary role of the Fund Development Manager is to implement key aspects of the Society’s integrated fund development program with a special emphasis over the next two years in supporting a major capital campaign, and in the post-campaign period, maintaining and stewarding key donor relationships and implementing ongoing fund development activities.

The Fund Development Manager is primarily responsible for the identification, cultivation, solicitation and recognition of corporate giving to CCIS. Responsibilities include the development and implementation of a comprehensive fundraising program & related communication and marketing activities.

In addition to being self-motivated, energetic and creative, the Fund Development Manager has the following skills and qualifications:

Post-secondary degree in a related field, or a combination of education and experience.
3-5 years experience in fund development management.
Demonstrated portfolio of success in capital campaign development and achieving goals and targets.
Must be a skilled communicator with well developed listening skills, as well as strong presentation and writing abilities.
Must demonstrate an ability to work well with people with diverse backgrounds, interests and professional needs.
Proven ability to think and act strategically.
