A Taste for Life - Event Committee Volunteer

     

Join our volunteer team and help plan A Taste for Life 2012!

The third annual A Taste for Life event will take place on April 25th, 2012! A Taste for Life 2011 helped raise more than $38,000 to support the SHARP Foundation, with all funds raised staying in Calgary. The SHARP Foundation is a local non-profit Foundation that provides care and support for persons living with HIV – the majority of SHARP’s clients are highly vulnerable, at risk of homelessness, with complex histories which may include mental health struggles and addictions. When: The committee will be active between January 2012 and May 2012. A Taste for Life 2012 will take place on April 25, 2012.

What: There are several sub-committee positions including: Restaurant Hosts/Greeters, Restaurant Recruitment, Media Promotions and Printing, and Prizing.

Benefits: Volunteers will work in small teams developing their skills in event planning and leadership, increasing their understanding of HIV/AIDS in their community while enjoying wonderful food from participating restaurants!

Help recruit restaurants to participate in A Taste for Life or volunteer to host on the evening of April 25 2012. Volunteers are also required to solicit prize donations in addition to soliciting sponsorship from media and corporate partners.
